1. Logging in

The admin panel requires you to log in with the credentials received at registration.

1 Open the admin panel

Open the panel URL in your browser. You'll see a login screen with the Cyfrowa Aukcja logo.

2 Enter your credentials

Enter your e-mail and password, then click "Sign in". On success you'll be taken to the dashboard.

2. Company and auction settings

Set up company details and default auction parameters. This is the first thing worth configuring.

1 Go to settings

Click "Settings" in the side menu. You'll see a form with two sections: company details and auction settings.

2 Fill in the company details

Enter the company name, contact e-mail and phone number.

3 Configure auctions

Set the default buyer premium (%), currency and time-extension window in seconds. The buyer premium is a commission added to the hammer price.

Tip: A typical buyer premium is 18–25%. You can override it per item when creating an auction.

4 Save settings

Click "Save settings" at the bottom. A confirmation will appear.

3. Managing categories

Categories help organize the catalog. Add them before entering items.

1 Go to categories

Click "Categories" in the side menu. You'll see the category list (empty at first).

2 Add a category

Click "Add category". In the dialog enter a name (e.g. "Clocks") — the slug is auto-generated. Set a position to control display order.

3 Edit and delete

Each category in the list has edit and delete icons. Deletion asks for confirmation.

Suggested categories: Painting, Furniture, Silver, Porcelain, Clocks, Numismatics, Prints, Books and old prints.

4. Item catalog

The heart of the system — add and manage items going on sale or to auction.

1 Add a new item

Click "Catalog" in the menu, then "Add item". A form opens with two sections: basic info and details.

2 Fill in the basic info

Enter the item title, pick a category and status. The slug is auto-generated from the title. Add a description.

Statuses: Draft (hidden), Available (visible in the catalog), Reserved, Sold, Archived.

3 Fill in the details

Fill in period, technique, dimensions, condition and provenance. More info means more confident buyers.

4 Save the item

Click "Add item". You'll be taken back to the catalog list.

5. Managing clients

Your buyer database — fully isolated, visible only to you.

1 Add a client

Click "Clients" in the menu, then "Add client". Fill in: first name, last name, e-mail, phone and optional notes.

2 Client statuses

Each client has a status: Invited (new), Active (account confirmed) or Blocked. You can change it from the client edit dialog.

6. Creating an auction

Create an auction, add items as lots and set starting prices.

1 Create an auction

Click "Auctions" in the menu, then "New auction". Enter title, description, pick start date and time.

2 Auction statuses

An auction goes through statuses: Draft → Scheduled → Live → Ended. Change status when you're ready.

7. Handling orders

When an auction ends the system creates orders automatically. Manage their fulfillment.

1 Browse orders

Click "Orders" in the menu. You'll see a list with hammer prices, buyer premium and total.

2 Status flow

Every order moves through stages:

Pending → Confirmed → Paid → Shipped → Completed

Click the button with the next status name to move the order forward. You can also cancel an order at any stage.

Tip: Orders are created automatically when the auction ends. You don't need to create them manually.

8. Dashboard and stats

The dashboard is your starting point — a quick overview of your business.

1 Stat overview

The dashboard shows four key numbers: items in the catalog, clients, active auctions (scheduled + live) and orders.

Tip: The dashboard refreshes automatically every time you visit it. The numbers reflect the current database state.
